Dr. Krishna Kishore Receives IPCNA Lifetime Achievement Award

Renowned media personality and corporate leader Dr. Krishna Kishore has been honored with the India Press Club of North America (IPCNA) Lifetime Achievement Award for his remarkable contributions to journalism, academia, and professional excellence.

The prestigious award was presented by N. K. Premachandran MP during the grand closing ceremony of the IPCNA Media Conference held at the Sheraton Edison Hotel. The event witnessed the presence of V. K. Sreekandan MP, Pramod Narayan MLA, IPCNA National President Sunil Tristar, Secretary Shijo Poulose, and several prominent media professionals from across North America and Kerala.

Dr. Kishore, who is well known among Malayalis worldwide through his popular television program “America Ee Aazhcha” (America This Week) on Asianet News, has produced and hosted more than 1,000 episodes over the years. His program has been widely appreciated for its depth, credibility, and insight into socio-political and cultural developments in the United States.

Professionally, Dr. Kishore serves as the Senior Director of Information Management and U.S. Leader at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC). His illustrious career includes key roles at Deloitte Consulting and Bell Communications Research, along with a pivotal contribution in launching Reliance Industries’ telecommunications division in India. He has also served as Director for the Asia-Pacific region in his field.

Dr. Kishore came to the United States in 1989 for higher studies, completing his Master’s degree at Southern Illinois University and later earning a Ph.D. from Pennsylvania State University. His research in telecommunications earned him the U.S. Government’s Outstanding Researcher Award.

Beyond his professional and media achievements, Dr. Kishore is an active member of the New Jersey India Commission, continuing his efforts to strengthen cultural and professional ties between India and the United States.
