CISF gets 'best marching contingent' award at R-Day parade
New Delhi, Jan 28
The CISF on Tuesday was adjudged the "best marching contingent" amongst paramilitary and other auxiliary contingents during Republic Day parade, 2020 at Rajpath, the force said.
This is sixth time that Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) contingent won the "best marching contingent" trophy at Republic Day parade, the earlier occasions being in 2007, 2008, 2013, 2015 and 2017.
The CISF contingent this year comprised 148 officers and personnel, including 3 lady sub-officers, and was led by Deputy Commandant Prabh Simran Singh.
