Malankara Orthodox Syrian Church American Diocese Sunday school Talent Fest 2025 big success

Philadelphia : Malankara Orthodox Syrian Church American Diocese Sunday school Talent Fest 2025 was successfully held at St. Thomas Orthodox Church, 1009 Unruh Ave, Philadelphia

The opening segment of the program started auspiciously with prayer led by St.Thomas Church Vicar, Rev. Fr. M.K. Kuriakose accompanied by Assistant Vicar Rev.Fr.Sujith Thomas and priests from different churches. Sunday School Director Rev. Fr. Dr. Timothy Thomas made the opening remarks. Sunday School Secretary, Mrs. Aju Tharian in her welcome address offered warm welcome to all participants in the program.




The first event in the talent fest was the Group Song Competition. Seventeen churches from different
regions in the Diocese participated in the competition . Metropolitan of Adoor-Kadampanadu
Diocese H.G.Dr. Zachariah Mar Aprem made a surprise visit during the event and his encouraging words to children in appreciation of their talents was one of the highlights of the program.



After culmination of noon prayer and lunch, talent show followed in the main hall. The program
started with the lamp lighting ceremony in the revered presence of Aprem Thirumeni and Sunday School Board members. Dr. Shiny Raju, the talent show coordinator welcomed the audience and then invited
the Emcees Ms. Alexia Jacob and Ms. Alison Tharian. Various churches representing different regions in the diocese participated in the talent show with scintillating performances in various events including skit, group song, group dance etc 



After the program, trophies were given to winners of Group song competitions, Bible Quiz competitions and certificates were distributed to Centralized Exam winners of Grade 10 and 12. Treasurer Mr.John Jacob delivered the vote of thanks to all participants and coordinators. The program ended with prayer and benediction.
