Together with the Indian Consul General, the Bihar Foundation US observes Bihar Diwas.

Along with the Bihar Jharkhand Association of North America, or BJANA, and CGI, NY, the Bihar Foundation US, East Coast Chapter, commemorated Bihar Diwas at the Indian Consulate General in New York City.

Congratulations and best wishes were given by Bihar Governor Rajendra Arlekar and Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, according to a press statement from BF-US.

The programme highlighted the tourism attractions, rich cultural legacy, Madhubani paintings, and delectable cuisine of Bihar. As he comes from Orissa, Binaya Pradhan, the consul general of India in New York, expressed his passion for Bihar while wishing the Bihari diaspora a happy Bihar Diwas. He discussed the distinguished leaders of Bihar, such as the late Indian President Dr. Rajendra Prasad and the scientist Aryabhata.

Santa Mishra read aloud his own poem, "Bihar Diwas poem." Dr. Avinash Gupta, President of FIA (NYNJCT&NE), spoke on the advancements in the healthcare industry, citing the Bihar AIMS in Patna and the next AIMS in Darbhanga.

BJANA President Sanjeev Singh emphasised untapped potential and the state of Bihar's infrastructure. In his capacity as the Bihar Jharkhand Association of New England (BJANE) representative, Rajnish Ojha promoted cooperation in order to restore Bihar's greatness. Alok Kumar, Chairman of the Bihar Foundation US East Coast, spoke on the new prospects in Bihar, particularly in the information technology sector, citing the expansion of businesses like HCL Technology and Tiger Analytics in the region.

Dr. Krishna P. Singh underlined the necessity for Biharis to contribute to the development of Bihar, visit the state and see its potential in tourism and industry, and has already inked a deal worth Rupees 3000 crore in green energy. For displaying Bihar's beauties, he expressed gratitude to the Bihar Tourism department. He

A remark from M. Kumar's friend Dr. Prakash Jha, "Bharat Badal Raha Hai, Bihar Bhi Badalega," signifies that Bihar would change along with India. Anandita Jha danced in the modern style to the tune "Aaju Mithila Nagaria." The Bihar Vishwa Gaurav Samman was given to deserving people as acknowledgment.

The founder and CEO of Holtec International, Dr. K.P. Singh, received recognition for his work in the field of nuclear waste management. He talked about how proud he was to be from Bihar and how determined he was to make Bihar more environmentally friendly.

The second recipient, Amit Choudhary, COO of Wipro Limited, spoke on Bihar's future potential and its sense of unity. The PRAN medical group's founder, Dr. Dinesh Ranjan, emphasised the increasing healthcare need of Bihar's impoverished population. The fourth honoree, Abhinave Atul, Director of Nutrivet Farmcare, was recognised for his efforts to give affordable pet medication.

People who were excelling in their disciplines were also acknowledged, such as Nupur Nishith, Shivangi Singh, and Shaily Jha in painting; Anand Raj and Rinku Kumari in litti promotion.

CG Pradhan, BJANA members, visitors from other states, such as Dr. Ajay Jha of Colorado, Vikas Ranjan from the Japan Bihar Foundation, Sanjeev Jha and Rajnish Ojha from Boston, and Manish Jha and his team from Connecticut, were all thanked for their participation by Bihar Foundation vice chairman Ranjeet Kumar. Past BJANA presidents Anurag Kumar and Vinay Singh were also recognised.
