Worship Khanna on playing a protagonist in web film 'Hadaf'
Mumbai, April 18
'Meri Doli Mere Angna' actor Worship Khanna is excited to play the protagonist for upcoming web film 'Hadaf' written and directed by Tushar Amreesh Goel.
He says: "I'm thrilled to be part of such an amazing project inspired by the 'The Kashmir Files'. The film is based on terrorism. When the director pitched it to me I couldn't say 'no', and confirmed it without a second thought. I enjoy being part of projects that highlight social issues or are educating society."
Worship, who earlier also featured in shows like 'Kunwara Hai Par Hamara Hai', 'Bharat Ka Veer Putra - Maharana Pratap', 'Yeh Jaadu Hai Jinn Ka' among others, says he plays a character inspired by a true story.
The actor shares: "Its based on a real life journey on an individual who was brainwashed and involved in terrorism and later when he come across the truth he changes emotionally. We are shooting for the same in real Mumbai chawls and I'm sure my audience will enjoy watching me in completely a new look."
