RIIL's Q2 net profit down 19%

Mumbai, Oct 14: Reliance Industrial Infrastructure Ltd (RIIL) has reported a 19.33 per cent fall in net profit for the second quarter (Q2) of 2016-17.
The company's net profit stood at Rs 3.38 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2016, down from Rs 4.19 crore in the corresponding quarter of last fiscal.
According to the company, its total revenue for the quarter under review increased by 7.72 per cent to Rs 26.10 crore.
"RIIL continues to provide infrastructure support services, namely transportation of petroleum products and water through pipelines, construction machinery on hire and other support services to Reliance Industries Group, with a substantial portion provided to Reliance Industries," the company said in a regulatory filing to the BSE on Thursday.
"RIIL presently does not have any expansion plans on the anvil."
