Indian equities open lower on Tuesday's morning trade
Mumbai, Oct 13 A benchmark index for Indian equities, the sensitive index (Sensex) of the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), on Tuesday opened lower and was trading at 26,853.95 points some 22 minutes after the opening bell.
The wider 50-scrip Nifty of the National Stock Exchange (NSE) was also trading lower at 8,135.35 points with a loss of 8.25 points or 0.10 percent.
The 30-share Sensex opened at 26,869.77 points against the previous close at 26,904.11 points.
At 9.37 a.m. it was ruling at 26,853.95 points with a loss of 50.16 points or 0.19 percent.
