Bharat Sevak Samaj's National Award to Prof. Varghese Mathew
Bharat Sevak Samaj's National Award was presented to Prof. Varghese Mathew by All India Chairman B. S. Balachandran during a ceremony held at Kawadiyar Sadbhavana Auditorium, Thiruvananthapuram. The award recognizes his dedicated efforts in promoting India's rich cultural heritage and transmitting its ancient traditions to future generations (13-10-2025). Prof. Mathew is the former Head of the Physics Department at Malabar Christian College, Kozhikode, and currently continues his scholarly pursuits as a researcher at the Indian Knowledge System, NIT.
He is the President of the Global Indian Council (GIC, North Kerala Chapter.
