Bigg Boss 13 Star Shefali Jariwala Passes Away; Sudden Demise at 42

Shefali Jariwala (42), the actress and former reality TV star who rose to fame with the 2002 music video Kaanta Laga, has passed away. According to preliminary reports, she died late Friday night following a cardiac arrest.

She reportedly experienced discomfort, after which her husband, actor Parag Tyagi, rushed her to the hospital. However, doctors declared her dead on arrival. Around 12:30 am, her body was shifted to Cooper Hospital for a postmortem examination. Hospital authorities stated that the exact cause of death will be confirmed only after the autopsy report.

Following the incident, Mumbai Police and a forensic team arrived at the couple’s Andheri residence to begin an investigation. The presence of both police and forensic experts suggests that authorities are treating the case with seriousness. Police are also examining whether there is any element of foul play involved.

Shefali Jariwala gained nationwide recognition through Kaanta Laga and later appeared in the Salman Khan-starrer Mujhse Shaadi Karogi. She was also a prominent face on popular television shows such as Bigg Boss 13, Nach Baliye, and Boogie Woogie. Her last acting appearance was in the 2019 web series Baby Come Naa.

Her sudden and unexpected demise has left fans, colleagues, and the entertainment industry in deep shock. Many have taken to social media to express their condolences.
