In recognition of his medical contributions and social service, Dr. Sumul N. Raval was honored by AUSA Leadership.

Dr. Sumul N. Raval, a renowned neuro-oncologist and founder of New Jersey’s first comprehensive Brain Tumor Center, was honored at the 2025 Leadership Dinner by the Northern New Jersey Chapter of the Association of the United States Army (AUSA) on April 30 at Albert’s Royal Palace. 

The award, presented by Brig. Gen. Yvonne L. Mays and Lt. Col. Sarah Bernal, recognized Dr. Raval’s medical contributions and service to the Indian-American community. Dr. Raval co-hosted the event with philanthropist Albert Jasani in honor of Ashishkumar Chauhan, MD & CEO of India’s National Stock Exchange. Chauhan, a pioneer in modernizing India’s financial markets, delivered a keynote on innovation and economic growth.

 The evening brought together leaders from medicine, finance, and philanthropy, celebrating excellence, leadership, and community impact. Dr. Raval’s compassionate approach to brain tumor treatment and Mr. Jasani’s dedication to social causes were central themes of the night, highlighting their enduring commitment to service and progress.
