The message of the CPM is 'You kill, we are with you'," said MP K. Sudhakaran.

KPCC President and MP K. Sudhakaran stated that the CPM's stance of protecting the accused at any cost in the murder case of Suraj from Elambilay, Muzhappilangad, Kannur, conveys the message to party workers: "You kill, we are with you."

He alleged that the CPM's involvement in all political murders in the state is due to the protection the party provides to the culprits. Political killings in Kerala will end the day the CPM disowns murder politics, he claimed. According to Sudhakaran, the party not only shields the killers but also assigns them to carry out the murders. Until recently, the CPM allegedly presented dummy accused instead of the real perpetrators, helping the actual culprits evade legal action.

The party takes full responsibility for managing the legal proceedings, providing financial assistance, jobs, salaries, memorials, and anniversaries for the accused. He also alleged that the party supports the accused in their contract killings and provides cover for their involvement in anti-national activities such as alcohol smuggling, drug trafficking, and gold smuggling.

Sudhakaran compared the CPM's protection of murderers to how terrorist organizations nurture suicide bombers. He claimed that the party has protected the accused in several high-profile murder cases, including those of T.P. Chandrasekharan, Mattannur Shuhaib, Kripesh, Sharath Lal, and Ariyil Shukkoor. Even the district council president accused of being responsible for ADM Naveen Babu’s death was shielded by the party, he alleged.

Furthermore, Sudhakaran stated that the state government used taxpayers' money to hire Supreme Court lawyers for legal battles. He also claimed that the CPM's dominance in Kannur is built on the graves of political rivals and revealed that a close relative of an accused in the Suraj murder case is employed in the Chief Minister's office.
