Student injured in a wild boar attack

Student injured in a wild boar attack at Vattipuram, Vellanapoyil, Kannur. The injured student has been identified as Muhammed Shadil, a Plus Two student from Manikkoth Vayal near Vattipra. The attack occurred in the morning while he was returning from the mosque.
Around twelve boar quills were embedded in Shadil’s body. He was shifted to Thalassery General Hospital for surgery.
In another incident, a farmer was killed in a wild boar attack in Kannur the previous day. The deceased was identified as Sridharan (70) from Arunda Kizhakkayil, Vallyayi. The attack took place at Muthiyanga Vayal in Padiyam Panchayat.
