Geometry box missing; Father broke the arm of an 11-year-old boy in Kalamassery

In Kalamassery, Ernakulam, a father broke the arm of his 11-year-old son. The child was beaten over a missing geometry box. He was struck with a piece of teak wood that was lying outside the house.
Kalamassery police have registered a case against the father. The FIR also mentions that the child was allegedly held underwater. The boy is receiving treatment at Kalamassery Medical College.
