Downloaded an AI tool; Disney employee's life shattered; Hacker issues a warning.

Disney Employee’s Life Ruined After Downloading AI Tool
Last February, Disney employee Matthew Van Andel unknowingly downloaded malware hidden in an AI image generator from GitHub. The malicious software allowed a hacker, "Nullbulge," to access his password manager, leading to a massive data breach at Disney.

The hacker leaked 1.1 terabytes of company and personal data, including Van Andel's financial accounts and even his children's Roblox logins. Despite reporting the issue to Disney's cybersecurity team, he was fired just 11 days later, losing $200,000 in bonuses and his family's healthcare.

The breach occurred because Van Andel had failed to enable two-factor authentication on his password manager. The hacker later taunted him online, calling the leak a warning to others.
