Rimshana's Death in Perinthalmanna: Police File Case Against Husband

Family Raises Serious Allegations Over Young Woman's Death at Her Marital Home in Perinthalmanna
The family of Rimshana, a young woman who died at her marital home in Perinthalmanna, Malappuram, has come forward with serious allegations. Following their complaint, the police have registered a case against her husband, Mustafa, on charges of harassment related to dowry demands.

Rimshana’s mother, Suhara, claimed that Mustafa began harassing her daughter after she gave birth to their second daughter. She also demanded a thorough investigation into the suspicious circumstances surrounding her daughter's death.

Rimshana was the mother of two daughters, aged seven and five. According to her family, she had endured both physical and mental abuse from her husband for years. Earlier, the family had also alleged that Rimshana’s body showed bluish bruises.

Rimshana and Mustafa had been married for nine years. Her family claims that after the birth of their second child, Mustafa’s harassment intensified. Three years ago, Rimshana had even attempted to file for divorce.
