Students collapsed unconscious at school; gas leak suspected.

Students collapsed en masse at school. Fourteen students at a government school in Gadepan, under Simaliya Police Station limits in Kota district, Rajasthan, lost consciousness. Parents alleged that a gas leak from a nearby factory caused the incident.

The unconscious students were rushed to CFCL Hospital, where they received first aid. Upon receiving the information, district authorities and police reached the site. Officials from the medical department were also called in. However, police officials have not yet confirmed whether a gas leak was the cause.

Meanwhile, Kota District Collector Dr. Ravindra Goswami stated that all students are now out of danger. He also mentioned that the Pollution Control Board has been instructed to investigate the matter. The exact cause will be determined only after the investigation is complete.
