New Twist in Balaramapuram Toddler Murder Case: Police Officer Booked for Sexual Assault
In a shocking turn of events related to the Balaramapuram toddler murder case, the mother of the two-year-old victim has accused a civil police officer (CPO) of sexual assault. The officer, who is attached to the district SP's office, has been booked by the Balaramapuram police following the woman’s complaint.

The woman alleged that the police officer not only sexually abused her but also extorted lakhs of rupees from her. She revealed this information while giving her statement regarding the murder of her child. Following her disclosure, a case was registered against the officer on February 5.

The woman further admitted to having financial dealings with the police officer. Notably, she had previously been accused of fraudulently collecting money from several individuals by falsely promising them jobs in the Devaswom Board. During an interrogation related to that case, she alleged that she had given money to the officer and was also sexually exploited by him.

Meanwhile, the police have arrested the woman’s brother in connection with the murder of her two-year-old child.
