If they have entered the 100-crore club, let them show proof; I have no interest in creating issues just because Mohanlal is on the other side," says Suresh Kumar.

G. Suresh Kumar Responds to Antony Perumbavoor’s Facebook Post
Producer G. Suresh Kumar has responded to Antony Perumbavoor’s Facebook post, emphasizing that he has been in the film industry long before Antony even started watching movies. He also stated that he has no issues just because Mohanlal is on the other side of the matter.
"I am not a fool. I have been working in the film industry for a long time. I started producing films even before Antony Perumbavoor began watching them. So, I wouldn’t do anything foolish. I am not in the industry for jokes—I have been in cinema for 46 years. I have known Antony for many years, ever since he became close to Mohanlal. I do not interfere in unnecessary matters or speak about things that do not concern me," said Suresh Kumar.
He also pointed out that Antony Perumbavoor does not actively participate in the association’s activities and, therefore, may not be fully aware of the issues at hand. "I only spoke about Empuraan after hearing from responsible sources. If needed, I can withdraw my statements. Mohanlal is on the other side, and they are all important people. I have no interest in creating any conflicts. The protest is an official decision of the association, and there is no going back on it. This ‘100-crore club’ claim should stop now. If they have truly entered the 100-crore club, let them show proof," he added.
Antony Perumbavoor’s Facebook post came after Suresh Kumar spoke to the media about the issues in the Malayalam film industry and the Producers' Association’s ongoing protest. In his post, Antony stated that such protests are not beneficial to the industry. He also questioned the basis of Suresh Kumar’s claim that a film produced by an actor would not be allowed to release in Kerala.
Furthermore, Antony raised concerns about discussing the financial aspects of an unfinished film in a public forum. In response, Suresh Kumar reaffirmed his stance and made it clear that he stands by the association’s decision.
