Comedian Jaspreet Singh Faces Backlash After Mocking Malayalees
Comedian Jaspreet Singh, who attempted to go viral by mocking Malayalees, is still facing the heat. Malayalees have flooded his social media accounts, turning them into an impromptu comedy show of their own. Following an obscene remark made during a show, fellow comedian Samay Raina’s programs have also been suspended.

The controversy erupted during India Got Laughter, a YouTube show hosted by Samay Raina. In one of the latest episodes, YouTuber Ranveer Allahbadia made an inappropriate remark, while Jaspreet Singh mocked Kerala. Jaspreet Singh appeared as a judge on the show, alongside Apoorva Mukhija, Ranveer Allahbadia, Ashish Chanchlani, and Samay Raina.

During the show, Ranveer Allahbadia asked a contestant an obscene question: "Would you watch your parents engage in sexual intercourse?"—a remark that sparked widespread outrage.

Additionally, when a contestant from Kerala was asked about her political stance, she replied that she had none. Jaspreet Singh then sarcastically laughed and said, "Kerala sir, 100% literacy!"—a comment that many perceived as a mockery of the state.

A clip of this moment went viral on X (formerly Twitter) within minutes, triggering a storm of criticism against the comedian, the show, and the video itself. Mumbai Police, Maharashtra Police, and Assam Police have registered cases regarding the incident. Authorities are currently reviewing other episodes of the program as part of their investigation.
