An elderly couple died in a house fire; son in custody

Raghavan and his wife Bharathi of Kottott House lost their lives in a house fire. According to locals, the bodies were completely charred. Their son, Vijayan, has been taken into police custody in connection with the incident.
Additionally, relatives have alleged that Vijayan used to harass his parents. The elderly couple’s grandson, Vishnu, stated that there had been a property dispute and that Vijayan had assaulted his parents two days prior.
The incident occurred in the early hours of the morning. The exact cause of the fire remains unclear. Suspecting foul play, the police took Vijayan into custody and have launched an investigation into the matter.
