Donald Trump Accuses Kamala Harris of Disrespecting Her Ethnicity in US Election Remarks

August 9 :
Donald Trump, during a news conference at Mar-a-Lago on Thursday, August 9, avoided answering a question on his assertion that Vice President Kamala Harris had "turned Black." According to him, her actions were "disrespectful" to the Black and Indian communities.
Trump was questioned by a reporter about the sudden self-identification of Harris as Black, given that she attended Howard University and has Jamaican American ancestry. "Kamala Harris's father is Jamaican American, and she went to a historically Black college, how is she only recently deciding to be Black?" inquired the journalist.

Instead of asking Trump, the reporter should ask Harris, Trump said. Since she is the one who originally mentioned it, you should probably ask her. Words escaped my lips. And I'm grateful for the inquiry, but you should ask her," Trump added.

"Disrespectful" to both Black and Indian populations, Trump continued, describing Harris's behavior as shocking. However, I myself do not care. However, in her view, it is extremely offensive to both Black and Indian people. Says he thinks it's disrespectful to both.

Adding to his previous endorsement of Harris, Trump said, "I've known her for a long time. As a developer, I made a long-ago contribution to her campaign. Plenty of liberal and conservative campaigns received my contributions; they belonged to both the Democratic and Republican parties.

The president acknowledged Thursday that NBC, Fox, and ABC News have invited him to debate.

At a news conference at his Mar-a-Lago club, Trump stated, "I think it's very important to have debates," and he acknowledged that NBC News, Fox News, and ABC News had invited him. In May, Trump accepted ABC's invitation to debate President Joe Biden. Nevertheless, Trump hinted that he would skip the ABC debate with Harris following Biden's withdrawal from the race last month, making Harris the presumed Democratic nominee.
