Antony Blinken: Quad Committed to Enhancing Lives Across Indo-Pacific and Beyond.

Tokyo, July 30 :
According to US Secretary of State Antony Blinken, Quad is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for individuals in the Indo-Pacific region and beyond. From enhancing maritime domain awareness to avoiding cyberattacks, he outlined the priority areas of the security bloc.
Efforts to better the lives of people in the Indo-Pacific area and beyond are a top priority for the Quad. Blinken stated in an X post that the United States is investing in the development of the region by raising marine domain knowledge and assisting in the prevention of cyber assaults.

The United States, Japan, Australia, and India form the diplomatic alliance known as Quad, and they are all working together to ensure that the Indo-Pacific region remains open, stable, prosperous, and resilient. In the Quad foreign ministers' meeting that took place on July 29 in Tokyo, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken, Australian Foreign Minister Penny Wong, Japanese Foreign Minister Yoko Kamikawa, and External Affairs Minister (EAM) Jaishankar were all in attendance.

Bliken met with Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida and US Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin to explore security cooperation between the two nations. The progress we have made on our military obligations was highlighted during our Security 2+2 meetings with Japanese Prime Minister Kishida and @SecDefAustin. According to Blinken, the continued success of these endeavors demonstrates the power of the U.S.-Japan Alliance. Prior to the meeting of the Quad Foreign Ministers, the US Secretary of State met with EAM Jaishankar earlier on Sunday.

India and the United States have a long history of working together, and the two heads of state reaffirmed their dedication to a peaceful and prosperous region.
