In Indianapolis, Indian-Origin Man Shot in Suspected Road Rage Incident

An apparent case of road rage in Indiana has resulted in the death of a man of Indian descent. A witness's cell phone recorded the whole episode. Deadly gunfire broke out between two armed drivers on the evening of July 16 near the intersection of Thompson and South Emerson, according to eyewitnesses. Officers discovered Gavin Dasaur shot in the street upon their arrival. In the end, the 29-year-old passed away at the hospital.

According to the police, the man who shot and killed was still at the scene of the crime, driving a white Chevrolet pickup truck. Viviana ZaMora, the victim's widow, spoke to The Indianapolis Star about how she held her husband while he bled out and how she waited for the ambulance. She went on to tell the Star that the couple had recently tied the knot and were excited to establish a family and see the globe.
