Pelosi Advises Biden Privately on Trump's Presidential Race Superiority

Washington, DC, July 18:
Former US House Speaker Nancy Pelosi informed US President Joe Biden in a secret meeting that the president is unable to defeat Donald Trump based on polling. According to the former House Speaker, Biden's continued pursuit of reelection could ruin the Democrats' chances of capturing the House in November. According to one source, President Biden pushed back and informed Pelosi that he had seen polls showing that he has a chance of winning.

Biden reportedly became defensive over the surveys, according to another source cited by CNN. But at one point, Pelosi requested that Mike Donilon, Biden's longstanding advisor, join them on the phone so they could review the information. After the US president's catastrophic debate on June 27, this phone contact between Pelosi and Biden is the second known communication that has occurred since then. According to CNN, one person said that the conversation took place within the last week, though the specific date is unclear. Supposedly, in the weeks after the debate, the former US House Speaker listened to colleagues' worries.

Pelosi stated last week in an interview that the president has the last say on whether or not to run for office. The clock is ticking, so we're all urging him to make a decision. "The party's nominee is President Biden," stated White House spokesman Andrew Bates. According to CNN, he is determined to win and is excited to collaborate with Democratic lawmakers to implement his 100-day plan to support working families. A representative for Pelosi, however, stressed that the former House speaker has been in California since last Friday and has not communicated with Biden during that time.

It was reported by CNN last week that former US President Barack Obama and Nancy Pelosi had privately voiced 'concerns' regarding Joe Biden's 2024 candidacy, drawing attention to the growing 'difficulty' they perceive in his prospects against Donald Trump. The Democrats are desperately trying to put a stop to their internal strife and return their attention to their goal of unseating Trump.

Democrats are looking to Obama or Pelosi for leadership, since they know that Biden doesn't trust Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer and that House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries can't get his views over to him. Pelosi has a lot of people counting on her to calm the party down. When Hillary tells Biden to drop out of the campaign, a lot of people think the problem will go away.
