Biden Clarifies Slip-Up After Introducing Zelenskyy as Putin

Washington DC, July 12 :
US President Joe Biden justified his comments accusing Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky of being Vladimir Putin, the Russian president, and said that the conference he attended was the "most successful conference" he had been to in quite some time. During his remarks at a press conference held following the NATO Summit in Washington, DC, Biden inquired as to whether the media had witnessed a more fruitful gathering.
Biden asked, "Did you see any damage to our stand in my leading this conference?" in response to a question about his comments mixing Zelenskyy with Putin. Can you recall a conference that was more fruitful? Do you have any opinions? At the very end of the Putin post, I clarified that by "Putin," I meant the Russian president. Zelenskyy, I apologize, but I declined. After that, I included five more names.
"Listen, everyone, how often did you hear during that conference that we haven't had an incredibly successful conference? That's just ridiculous!" I apologize if this comes out as excessively egocentric, but other world leaders have thanked me and said that Biden is the reason we are all here because he did the following. Even a world leader who didn't think it was the most successful conference he'd been in a long time couldn't deny that it was, he continued.
Following his initial introduction of the Ukrainian president as Vladimir Putin and subsequent correction, Biden made the following statement. With "as much courage as he has determination," Biden passed the torch to President Poroshenko of Ukraine during his remarks at the gathering commemorating the Ukraine Compact. President Putin, esteemed guests. He swiftly corrected himself and declared, "He's going to beat President Putin—President Zelenskyy." We need to be concerned about my obsession with defeating Putin. Biden threw former US President Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris for a loop after he called Zelenskyy Putin.
By way of explanation, I would never have chosen Vice President Trump to be Vice President," Biden said when asked whether he had any reservations about Harris' capacity to unseat Donald Trump in the event that he chose not to run again. Nonetheless, I do not believe she is qualified to be president. In response to Joe Biden's gaffes at the press conference, Donald Trump mocked him on his social media site, Truth Social.
Trump said, "Crooked Joe begins his 'Big Boy' Press Conference with, 'I wouldn't have picked Vice President Trump to be vice president, though I think she was not qualified to be president.'" in his Truth Social post. Excellent work, Joe.
“By the way: Yes, I know the difference,” Biden responded in an X post. You have a prosecutor on one side and a felon on the other.
Biden is currently under a great deal of scrutiny due to his elderly age, and his verbal gaffes have only added fuel to the fire. Despite Democrats' private requests for Joe Biden to withdraw from the November election, the vice president has declared that he will be "running this race to end." Despite growing concerns about his mental capacity, Biden remained resolute and informed House Democrats in a letter sent on Monday that he would persist in his campaign for reelection. I would not be running again, Biden declared, "if I did not absolutely believe that I could beat Donald Trump."
"I want you to know that despite all the speculation in the press and elsewhere, I am firmly committed to staying in this race, to running this race to the end, and to beating Donald Trump," said Trump. "We have 42 days to the Democratic convention and 119 days to the general election," Biden noted in the letter provided by his reelection campaign. Further, he added,Biden demands party cohesion in his open letter, stressing the importance of working together to unseat Trump in the next election.
If our commitment is weakened or our understanding of the task at hand is unclear, it will only benefit Trump and undermine us. "We must unite as a party, overcome Donald Trump, and move forward," Biden proclaimed. This letter follows a conference conversation with House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries, during which four lawmakers voiced their clear desire for Biden to resign. A number of wealthy contributors have allegedly voiced their disapproval as well. For example, Rob Reiner, a prominent Democratic fundraiser, has stated his belief that Biden ought to resign because "we lose our democracy if Trump wins." Also, in what many consider to be one of the most consequential elections of their lives, several of the president's most ardent backers are ramping up their efforts to unseat Trump by challenging Biden for the presidency.
