Thanedar Secures Re-election Endorsement from 13th Congressional District Democratic Party

June 7 :
The 13th Congressional District Democratic Party has endorsed Shri Thanedar, an Indian American Congressman running for reelection in Michigan's 13th congressional district. On August 6th, there will be a democratic primary. Representative Shri Thanedar's "dedication to serving his constituents, maintaining open lines of communication, and making a real difference in the district" was emphasised by Wayne County Commissioner and 13th Congressional District Chair Jonathan C. Kinloch, who said, "The 13th Congressional District Democratic Party is endorsing Congressman Shri Thanedar for his dedication to serving his constituents."
Kinloch made a statement praising the candidate's accomplishments, including the introduction and support of important legislation and his outspoken advocacy on important community concerns. In his endorsement statement, Congressman Thanedar thanked the voters and emphasised his work to increase the district's access to federal funding. To the Democratic Party of the Thirteenth Congressional District, I am profoundly grateful for your endorsement. Concerns like social security payments, tax returns, and veterans' benefits continue to occupy my time and energy.
Streamlining SBA services and encouraging entrepreneurial enterprises in our district are two of Thanedar's top priorities as a member of the Small Business Committee. A total of 775,179 people living in 20 different Wayne County localities make up Thanedar's 13th Congressional District in Michigan. With his 2022 congressional victory, he now serves in the United States House of Representatives. Notable Democrats such as House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries, Democratic Caucus Chair Pete Aguilar, and Whip Katherine Clark have all shown strong support for his campaign.
