The fifth marriage for media magnate Rupert Murdoch

In the Big Apple on June 3: On Saturday, at his Moraga wine estate in Bel Air, Los Angeles, media magnate Rupert Murdoch, who stepped down from his positions as board members of Fox and News Corporation last year, reportedly sealed the wedding with Elena Zhukova for the sixth time,  

The outdoor ceremony between Murdoch (93 years old) and Zhukova (67 years old) took place under a bright sky. The exquisite ankle-length, off-the-shoulder white dress supposedly made by Emilia Wickstead was worn by Zhukova, who was holding a bouquet of white flowers. Murdoch, on the other hand, donned a dark suit with trainers. Robert Thomson, CEO of News Corp., and Robert K. Kraft, owner of the New England Patriots, were among the notable visitors.

Kraft, owner of the New England Patriots. After meeting through Wendi Deng, Murdoch's third wife, the couple started dating last summer, according to The Daily Mail. Retired molecular scientist Zhukova emigrated to the United States from Moscow in 1991; she was formerly married to energy investor Alexander Zhukov, a billionaire according to the New York Times

No one knows exactly how they met, but rumours have it that they spent a few weeks on a Mediterranean holiday on the luxury motor yacht Christina O, which belonged to Aristotle Onassis. March saw the confirmation of their engagement. The engagement between Murdoch and conservative radio presenter and former dental hygienist Ann Lesley Smith was broken off, and this union follows. Following a brief engagement of less than a month, Murdoch and Smith broke off their engagement last spring.

Few details about Zhukova's marriages are known. She initially met her husband, Alexander Zhukov, a British citizen, while they were both studying in the Soviet Union.  Their three-year marriage yielded the successful entrepreneur and socialite Dasha Zhukova as a daughter.
