UMass Dartmouth offers a wealth of possibilities through its creative curriculum, state-of-the-art research, and multidisciplinary programmes. With our strong position, Charlton College can take full advantage of these opportunities for the betterment of our students and the community at large. Annavarjula expressed her enthusiasm at the chance to head the Charlton College of Business, where she plans to help provide more opportunities for students to gain hands-on experience, expand academic programmes that are driven by the market, and provide outstanding results for their studies.
Before her current position, Annavarjula was a professor of international business and dean of Bryant University's college of business. During his time at Bryant, he oversaw the College of Business's day-to-day operations, as well as its long-term strategy, curriculum creation, and faculty management.
Data Science, Business Analytics, Digital Marketing, Leadership and Innovation, and Project Management are just a few of the undergraduate and graduate programmes that Annavarjula helped establish with the help of teachers and alumni.
The university press release states that Annavarjula has extensive expertise and experience with the AACSB certification process.
Under his leadership, Bryant University rose to popularity on a national and international scale. One of his accomplishments was elevating the International Business major to the seventeenth spot in the United States and one of the best programmes in the country for 2023, as reported by US News and World Report.
He spearheaded the fall 2018 introduction of a new graduate-level online MBA programme with a group of committed faculty members; the programme is now ranked in the top fifteen percent of the country by 2024 US News & World Report.
North American Small Business International Trade Educators (NASBITE) presented Madan Annavarjula with the Outstanding International Educator of the Year Award in 2018, in addition to the Bryant Alumni Award for Excellence (2013), the Outstanding Service Award (2011), and the Excellence in Teaching Award (2010) from Bryant.
Pedagogical concerns in the field of international business education and the technological tactics of multinational firms are the subjects of his present research interests. Annavarjula has presented his findings at both domestic and international conferences and had articles published in peer-reviewed journals. Temple University's Fox School of Business is where Annavarjula got his doctorate in international business.
