Biden Remarks on Trump's Acknowledgment of Challenges at Indian-American Election Event

May 11 :
Democratic presidential candidate Donald Trump "is in trouble and he knows it," according to Joe Biden, who is running against him in 2024. During a May 10 event in Silicon Valley for his re-election campaign, Biden delivered these comments in honour of notable Indian-Americans. Neeru and Vinod Khosla, a couple worth over a billion dollars in venture capital, hosted the gathering in their Portola Valley, California, mansion.
In his 16-minute speech, Biden made the following statement regarding Trump: "After bragging about he's [Trump] the reason why Roe v. Wade was overturned, he's now worried voters are going to remember that and hold him accountable for the cruelty and chaos that has been created." I have some bad news for Donald Trump: The American people will make him pay for his actions.
During his speech, Biden made several jokes related to Trump. Look at the cover of this week's TIME Magazine — the lengthy interview with Trump. That's what Trump said about abortion recently, Biden remarked, referring to his statements. His position was that states should keep tabs on pregnant women and bring criminal charges against individuals who cross state lines to access abortion. Are pregnant women to be monitored? Trump, though, is no stranger to disorder. He ushered in an era of chaotic presidency. It seems like Trump is making an effort to dispel the memory of how bleak and disturbing things were when he departed from office. Though we will not overlook it.
Additionally, Biden announced that more Americans than ever before had health insurance, and he went on to say that he had fought against Big Pharma, the conglomeration of large international pharmaceutical firms, for quite some time in order to make this happen.
Greater numbers of Americans are covered by health insurance plans now than at any point in our nation's history. The pharmaceutical industry has been my adversary for many years in my capacity as a senator. During his remarks at the fundraiser, Biden made it clear that he could get prescription drugs filled for 40 to 60 percent less in cities throughout the world, including Toronto, London, Paris, Berlin, and others, if they had a prescription from an American pharmaceutical manufacturer.
As for measures his administration made to make the country safer for gun owners, Biden covered those as well.
A huge gathering assembled at Khosla's residence for the celebration; he is a co-founder of Sun Microsystems. In addition to his support for renewable energy and clean technologies, he is famous for investing in tech startups. The venture capital firm he founded, Khosla Ventures, has invested in a wide range of successful businesses. There is evidence that Khosla has been an activist in politics, with a focus on energy, environmental, and technological causes.
At the beginning of the ceremony, Biden stated, "I came to see your dogs." "Sometimes, I prefer dogs to people, as you can imagine from what the press has reported." Admission to the event, which attracted numerous affluent IT professionals, cost anything from $6,600 to $100,000. Pres. Biden's campaign is anticipated to rely heavily on contributions from the Indian-American community.
