GOPIO Denounces Statement by Khalistan Leader

Global Organization of People of Indian Origin (GOPIO) represents and seeks to represent all Diaspora Indians living outside of India.
All People of Indian Origin have been living peacefully in many Countries around the World in USA, Canada, Latin America , UK, Europe, Africa, Far East, Australia and many Countries of South and South East Asia.
We are Hindus and Sikhs and Christians and Muslim and Jains and Buddhists and Zoroastrians and of Jewish Faiths. So many of us are second, third, fourth, fifth or even sixth generation in our adapted Land!
It is with much distress that we have read a Statement attributed to a Khalistani leader of US based Sikhs for Justice (SFJ) asking ‘Hindus’ to leave Canada.
GOPIO denounces such statement and strongly believes we should refrain from making incendiary statements against one another in the current Environment.
