Genesis (poem : Pushpamma Chandy )

She was always with me, walking along, so close to me,
But never touching me.
Some days when I have fallen I thought she will hold me
But it never happened.
Sometimes I longed for her touch,
But she left me longing.
Then one day when I least expected it she held my hand,
That was the day I woke up from Life,
But they said I had died.
