Will not disappoint, Somnath Bharti on AAP going national

New Delhi, Feb 16 Hinting at pan India political ambitions of Aam Aadmi Party, its MLA from Malviya Nagar constituency, Somnath Bharti claimed that people were demanding that AAP should go nationwide and the party would not disappoint them.

"They are demanding us to go pan India and we will not disappoint them," Somnath Bharti said while interacting with IANS here at Ram Leela Maidan.

Somnath was the law minister in Arvind Kejriwal's last government and is considered close to AAP's top leadership.

Pressing on AAP's developmental agenda, Bharti attributed the landslide victory in Delhi elections to the initiative in sectors like education, health and other basic issues.

"We have worked well on basic amenities, I myself issued quarantee cards in my constituency to make sure my announcements were met with ground work," Bharti said.

Bharti was speaking here at Ram Lila Maidan as Arvind Kejriwal took oath as Delhi Chief Minister for the third time, after registering a massive victory in Delhi elections as his party bagged 62 seats put of 70 seats in Delhi.
