Former Brazil midfielder Elias rejoins Sporting Lisbon
Rio de Janeiro, Sep 1: Former Brazil midfielder Elias Mendes Trindade has rejoined his former football club Sporting Lisbon just hours before the close of the European transfer window.
The Portuguese club confirmed the deal on its official Twitter account after the 31-year-old completed a medical on Wednesday, reports Xinhua.
Elias spent three seasons at Sporting before his 2014 move to Corinthians. He made 58 appearances for the Sao Paulo outfit and helped them to the 2015 Brazilian Serie A title.
