Sensex trades flat in early session
Mumbai: A benchmark index of Indian equities markets, the 30-scrip Sensitive Index (Sensex), on Friday was trading flat at 23.57 points or 0.08 percent down during the morning session.
The wider 50-scrip Nifty of the National Stock Exchange (NSE) was also trading flat at 11.20 points or 0.13 percent down at 8,578.60 points.
The Sensex of the S&P Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), which opened at 28,390.50 points, was trading at 28,347.27 points (at 9.19 a.m.) in the early session, down 23.57 points or 0.08 percent from the previous day's close at 28,370.84 points.
The Sensex has touched a high of 28,402.64 points and a low of 28,259.12 points in the trade so far.
