Mayor Robin J. Elackatt Takes Oath for Third Term in Missouri City

Mayor Robin J. Elackatt was officially sworn in for his third term as the Mayor of Missouri City in a ceremony administered by Texas District Court Judge Surendran Pattel. The event, attended by family, community leaders, and supporters, marked another proud moment for the city’s South Asian community.

Joined by his wife Tina and daughters Leah and Caitlin, Mayor Elackatt thanked residents for their continued trust and reaffirmed his commitment to service-driven leadership. In his remarks, he emphasized unity and outlined key priorities for the new term, including strengthening public safety, advancing infrastructure projects, promoting economic growth, and fostering inclusive community engagement.

Mayor Elackatt won re-election with 52.61% of the vote and noted that preparations are already underway to further ongoing initiatives aimed at long-term city development. His term will run through 2028.
