As the Twenty20 World Cup gets off, the ICC has released a video of Nassau Stadium.

April 4:
Nassau County International Cricket Stadium, located 30 miles east of Manhattan in New York City, is preparing to host the fixtures of the T20 World Cup 2024 as the major event draws near. The video, which was released by the International Cricket Council (ICC) on Tuesday, April 2, shows the ongoing work of the stadium.
The East and West Stands' modular framework is almost finished; these will house over 24,000 people who will be rooting for their teams during the World Cup. The north and south premium hospitality and media pavilions, as well as the outfield, of the modular stadium in Eisenhower Park, Nassau County, New York, are currently undergoing final assembly.
All of India's group stage matches, including the high-stakes showdown with Pakistan on June 9, will take place at the stadium. These two nations have met seven times at the Twenty20 World Cup — twice in 2007 (in the Final), 2012, 2014, 2016, 2021, and 2022 — and the latest chapter in their legendary rivalry will be witnessed in New York.
For a long time, people will remember the T20 World Cup matches that these two sides played recently. While India pulled off a stunning last-ball robbery in front of a packed Melbourne Cricket Ground crowd in 2022, Pakistan became the first team to win in World Cup 50-over and 20-over matches in 2021.
The unprecedented level of enthusiasm for the tournament is evident from the skyrocketing demand for tickets. On Thursday, April 4 at 10 AM ET, there will be a limited number of extra tickets available for six matches at the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in New York. These matches include India vs. Ireland on June 5 and USA vs. India on June 12.
Also, the first World Cup match, between the United States and Canada, on June 1, will be played at Texas's Grand Prairie Cricket Stadium, and there will be limited tickets available for all four matches.
We are happy to be recognising 60 days to go to the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2024," remarked Chris Tetley, Head of Events of the ICC, speaking on the stadium's 60-day completion. Construction on the first-of-its-kind international cricket stadium in Nassau County is moving along according to schedule, and we couldn't be happier about it. According to ICC's official website, ICC Head of Events Chris Tetley stated, "A visit to the stadium is not to be missed." He went on to say that the latest time-lapse showed the venue's astounding scale.
