Bihar Jharkhand Association's Holi Festivities Attract Large Crowds

The Bihar Jharkhand Association's Holi events draw hundreds of people. On March 17, 2024, the Bihar Jharkhand Association of North America, or BJANA, celebrated Holi at Fords, New Jersey's Royal Albert Palace.

An organisation press release stated that the event was attended by about 600 members of the diaspora from Bihar and Jharkhand. People travelled from Connecticut, New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania to celebrate the arrival of spring and catch up with friends.

The main guest was Binaya Srikanta Pradhan, the consul general of India in New York. He expressed his gratitude to the BJANA team for inviting him to this significant occasion and acknowledged the community service being provided. He also wished the audience a very happy Holi and made suggestions about how BJANA could support the expansion of the Indian diaspora. Dr. Varun Jeph, the deputy general consul of India, was present.
