Indian Heritage Night celebrations echo around Chicago's Now Arena during the Windy City Bulls game.

Chicago March 20 :
On March 14, 2024, the Federation of Indian Associations Chicago (FIA Chicago) hosted the Indian Heritage Celebration at the Now Arena. The event featured vibrant colours and sporty, dynamic performances.

President Pratibha Jairath led the occasion, which was opened by Founder Chairman of the FIA Sunil Shah.

The Indian national anthem opened the proceedings for the FIA ensemble, which is made up of Richa Chand, Vice President FIA, Vinita Gulabani, Past President, and Founder/Chairman Sunil Shah. The US national anthem, performed by Nishika Dubey and Sahiba Siddu, came next.

A press release from FIA Chicago on March 19, 2024 stated, "The crowd erupted in a symphony of cheers, a testament to the unity and spirit encapsulated in both anthems."

The Indian Heritage dancers thrilled the crowd with their expertly choreographed dances that featured pulsating rhythms while the Windy City Bulls and Grand Rapids Gold battled on the court.

The Olympic motto, "Faster, Higher, Stronger," according to the organisers, stimulated a higher degree of community involvement.

The organisers said that "participation across all demographics witnessed an unprecedented surge this year." The FIA featured the greatest number of performers—more than 85—dance groups—five groups—the distribution of the greatest number of community appreciation certificates—90+—the maximum amount of Indian diaspora participation and involvement in Chicagoland—more than 400—and the widest age range of participants—from toddlers to elderly adults.

According to the press release, "Ticket sales exceeded the cumulative total for the previous five years, which was a testament to the tireless efforts led by Vice President Sonia Luther and Secretary-General Nilabh Dubey."
