The deadline for the initial registration of H1B visa applications is approaching, with the cutoff set for March 22nd.

March 20 :
A government agency has announced that the first registration period for the highly sought-after H-1B visas for foreign guest workers for fiscal 2025 will close on March 22 at 12 p.m. Eastern Time.
During this time, potential petitioners and their attorneys must electronically register each beneficiary for the selection process through an online account that US Citizenship and Immigration Services provides. They also have to pay each beneficiary's related registration charge.
It was also claimed that users of online accounts would benefit from improved organisational account features within their online accounts, enabling them to work together on registrations and petitions.
A press statement states that Form I-129, which is used to petition non-immigrant workers under the H-1B programme, and Form I-907, which is used to request premium processing service, are now accessible through USCIS online accounts.
On April 1, USCIS will start accepting online petitions for the H-1B cap. USCIS stated, "We will notify you when online filing for non-cap H-1B petitions is accessible."
For a set period of time, U.S. firms can hire foreign workers with specialised talents in the country thanks to the H-1B visa, a form of nonimmigrant work visa.
