P C Mathew Running for Garland City Council District 3 : Election Campaign Kicked-off
Dallas: P.C. Mathew has been active in the social and cultural scene for the last 17 years in Dallas Fort Worth Metroplex. P. C. Mathew is running for Garland City Council from District 3. The Garland City in Texas is rapidly growing with a population of about two hundred fifty thousand people. A grand Zoom Meeting to Kick-off P.C.Mathew Election Campaign and to announce the Election Campaign Committee was conducted on 19 March 2023 at 8 pm.
The meeting commenced with a prayer by Mrs. Mary Thomas, the eldest sister of Mr. Mathew. Prof. Joy Pallattumadom, in his welcome speech, presented the candidate, Mr.P.C Mathew, with the details of his contest and remarked about his ongoing services at the global level of Global Indian Council (GIC), World Malayali Council (WMC Unified) and as a member of the Press Club and many organizations and HOA's.
In the Candidate's address, P.C. Mathew explained his exodus of social indebtedness, narrated his vast experience in different areas, and particularly in his hometown, and requested everyone's support in the election.
Chief guest and Mayor Candidate Roel Garcia affirmed his close-knit social activities with P.C. Mathew and offered all his support in the coming election.
P.C is contesting for the second time to the Garland city council. He was a run-off candidate on May 1, 2021 election and was defeated by insignificant votes. Multicultural voters who live here in large numbers decide the victory or defeat of the candidates. Therefore, he is a candidate for the election with great confidence. P.C is also a good writer and media professional.Mr.Sudhir Nambiar, the GGS of Global Indian Council, in his speech, endorsed Mr. P. C Mathew and offered him all its support in his philanthropic endeavors in the city.
PC's experience at the helm of several socio-cultural organizations, his special interest in interacting with the people, and the support of the people will translate into votes. PC has a new and great agenda this time created out of his experience with City related activities. He had served on the Board and Commissions of the City of Garland (Environmental & Community Advisory Board) and attended town hall meetings and council meetings. PC completed and graduated from a year-long LEADERSHIP GARland program which provided him with knowledge of a servant-leader relationship with the public.
P.C Mathew is currently serving in two Home Owner's Association Boards as treasurer (Shores of Wellington) and Vice President (Rustic Oaks HOA) and closely working with the public. He is in very good rapport with many City Council members and the Garland Chamber of Commerce.
A legacy of daring work in the Bahrain Defense Force, and the US Army Corps of Engineers during Gulf War Times, academic excellence and recognition for philanthropic activities are all Mathew's positive factors. PC has a large circle of friends, to conduct his election campaign activities in an orderly manner. The Election Campaign Committee requested everyone to ensure high participation of voters to make early voting a great success when it begins on April 24. The final election date is May 6, 2023.
