This Sunday, July 18 at 8 pm ET, TV Asia is premiering Radio, a short movie about reflections of life, produced and shot entirely in New Jersey.

The short movie is produced by Prayog Productions, a unique collaboration of Indian American theater aficionados who now have ventured into filmmaking after making a mark with street plays, stage shows and TV commercials.

Radio showcases life’s quintessential ups and downs, the challenges it brings and the glimmer of hope. When life gets tough, a small glimmer of light at the end of the tunnel is all one needs to wade through the rough waters.

Radio is written and directed by Ameeya Mehta while cinematography and editing is by Zahid Khan. The cast includes Gaurav Mehta, Akshada Sawant, Anchal Sharma, Dhanashree Vaidya, Anika Mehta and Ameeya Mehta.

This film is a tribute to the vision of Prayog’s founder, late Prof Satish Mehta, whose creative genius is still the guiding light for members of Prayog.
