Regis Philbin dies at 88. He has been a long time iconic TV host on many shows. He died from natural causes. 1988, Philbin started his iconic career as the host of LIVe with Regis and Kathie Lee after 15 years Gifford left ABC.
Family had mentioned he was one month away from his birthday. In 2001, the show became LIVE with Regis and Kelly, co-starring Kelly Ripa. He left the show after 23 years in 2011.
He also served as the host of 'Who wants to be a Millionaire' from 1999 to 2002.
