Modi welcomes Nadda at BJP's parliamentary meeting
New Delhi, Feb 4
Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) national president J.P. Nadda attended the party's first parliamentary meeting in the capital on Tuesday after he took over as the president.
He was given a warm welcome by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the members of the Parliamentary Board.
Nadda said on the occasion, "We are fortunate to have a strong and efficient leader like Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Inspired by the Prime Minister, we are all dedicated to our services, developments and pride of the nation."
Speaking on the occasion, Modi also heaped praises on Nadda and hoped that under his leadership the party would scale further heights.
