Man arrested for raping four minor daughters in Kerala

Malappuram, Jan 18 A 47-year-old man was arrested by the Kerala police on Saturday for allegedly raping his four minor daughters.

The man, a daily labourer, is a liquor addict and lives in Valanchery near here with his family.

He has four daughters aged 17, 15, 13 and 10, who are now being medically examined to confirm the sexual assault. Thereafter, they will be presented before a magistrate to record their statements.

It was the 10-year-old girl who first disclosed the matter to her teacher and soon the school authorities took all the four sisters for counselling, where they made further disclosures.

The school authorities then informed the police which later arrested the accused.
