Pak violates ceasefire on LoC

Srinagar,Pakistan resorted to yet another ceasefire violation across the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir on Saturday with firing of small arms and mortar shelling, the Army said.

The violation took place in the Keri Battal and Sunderbani sectors in Rajouri district.

An Army statement said that the firing and shelling started at around 11.30 a.m., adding that the Indian forces retaliated befittingly.

The statement also said that on Friday night, there was heavy exchange of fire in the Akhnoor sector.
