Sensex down 150 points in early trade
Mumbai, Nov 29: The key Indian equity indices opened on a negative note on Friday with the BSE Sensex declining over 150 points in early trade.
The domestic indices traded lower tracking weakness in the Asian indices, analysts said.
At 9.42 a.m., the Sensex was trading at 40,976.12, lower by 154.05 points or 0.37 per cent from the previous close of 41,130.17 points.
So far, it has touched an intra-day high of 41,143.22 and a low of 40,961.59 points.
The Nifty50 on the National Stock Exchange was trading at 12,116.65, lower by 34.50 points or 0.28 per cent from its previous close.
