Indian-American author Cyril Mukalel’s new novel, ‘Life in a Faceless World’ attempts to promote a greater understanding between cultures and facilitate friendships between diverse groups, thereby removing the fear incited from ignorance. This book reminds the readers that, we are all unique, yet, different in many ways. Instead of focusing on our differences, we should find reasons to come together. Often we tend to be preoccupied by our own problems living in our own world, in imaginary silos that we have created for ourselves. If we try to know one another, and look through the eyes of the people around us, the invisible walls we have created will begin to disappear and our world will be a friendlier place.

The message of the book is to learn about other cultures, promote inclusion instead of exclusion, being inviting rather than rejecting has resonated very well with many prominent American politicians. Book’s supporters and initial readers include highflying US Congresswoman Ilhan Omar, Minnesota House Representatives Kristin Robbins, Hodan Hassan, Heather Edelson, City of Savage Mayor Janet Williams and many others.
