Netaji kin, former IPS, new joinees in BJP's Bengal list

Kolkata, March 21
Union Minister Babul Supriyo would fight to retain Asansol, Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose's grand-nephew Chandra Kumar Bose is in fray from the prestigious Kolkata South, while BJP's West Bengal unit president Dilip Ghosh in the race from Midnapore in the first list of 28 candidates announced by the party for the Lok Sabha polls in the eastern state.

Actress Locket Chatterjee is the nominee from Hooghly, while new joinee and former IPS officer Bharati Ghosh has got the ticket from Ghatal in West Midnapore district where she was posted as Superintendent of Police for a long time.

The list announced by the party includes its veteran leaders, some new joinees, mostly in their familiar turf, as also some other high profile candidates who, the party hopes, can make a difference.
