Broadcasting every Sunday from 2 pm to 7.30 pm on Masala Radio's 1110 AM (KTEK) frequency, Dakshin Radio harnesses the unique and captivating beats of the five southern states into one harmonious package that appeals to an audience of over 100,000 Indian Americans hailing from southern India, who make up a significant segment of the Greater Houston region.

Dakshin Radio has brought the four main languages of southern India - Kannada, Malayalam, Tamil and Telugu - together on a common platform for the first time ever in the country. The station's unique blend of trendy and contemporary tunes, evergreen favorites interspersed with breezy banter from the team of young, enthusiastic RJs , has already elicited rave reviews from the audience that tuned in to the inaugural show on Sunday, March 17.
