4 Kerala youth beat up man, abduct minor daughter
Kollam, March 19 Four local youth allegedly kidnapped a 14-year-old girl after beating up her father, who hails from Rajasthan and is involved in the pottery business, the Kerala Police said.
Speaking to IANS, a police official attached to the Ochira police station confirmed the incident. "We have registered a case against four accused for kidnapping the 14-year-old Rajasthani girl," he said.
"A local youth was close to the girl. On Monday night he with three others forcibly took the young girl after beating up her father," said the official requesting anonymity.
The families from Rajasthan have been residing in Ochira town for the last eight years and are engaged in making clay pottery.
